Scope of work
GOGO Foundation is a South Australian not-for-profit helping women rebuild their strength, step into employment, and take their next big step forward. The organisation identified a need for a more cohesive, compelling, and aligned look and feel, to support the future they were working toward. The existing identity no longer reflected the depth of their impact or the confidence of their mission, limiting their ability to attract funding, community support, and more women into the program.
This rebrand was delivered in under 6 weeks, in collaboration with brandkind, following their pro-bono pitch night in March 2025, where various social enterprises shared what they needed most to grow and were matched with supporters to help bring those outcomes to life. The objective was to redefine GOGO’s brand foundations and narrative, creating clearer and more unified footing for growth. Brand strategy was led by Florencia from The Powerful Brand Group, and together we shaped a future-facing direction that celebrated momentum, resilience, and empowerment.
From this strategic base, Nacara Studio led the visual identity execution — developing a bold brandmark designed to represent women in motion, strength, and transformation. The figurative symbol embodied GOGO’s role in supporting forward movement, while the supporting design system drew inspiration from activism and community publishing through risograph textures and layered graphic expression. The refreshed visual system balanced expressive energy with accessible typography, calming pastels, and vibrant colour accents with organic illustrations and adaptable graphic elements. The result was an elevated identity that communicated GOGO Foundation’s purpose with confidence, helping them show up more powerfully for the women and communities they serve.
