Scope of work

Old Spike is a UK-based social enterprise using coffee as a vehicle for social change, working toward their mission of ending homelessness. Since 2024, we’ve supported their team through ongoing graphic design, email marketing, website updates, and ad-hoc creative delivery — ensuring their brand and communications stay consistent and run smoothly as the organisation grows.

During this time, we refined Old Spike’s visual identity to better align with their message of coffee with impact. Their previous colour palette was too pastel and understated, so we introduced richer terracotta tones, deep greens, and grounded browns to bring more warmth, depth, and strength to their online and offline touchpoints. These updates were applied across coffee packaging and gradually rolled out across key channels throughout 2025.

A major project within this collaboration was the design of Old Spike’s 2024/25 Impact Report—a 37-page publication detailing their outcomes, objectives, and evolving impact model as they continue strengthening sustainability operations. The result was a more confident and cohesive visual language that reflected both the quality of the product and the purpose behind it.
