Scope of work

Over years of working with corporate HR teams, Robyn Katz, and Talkpoint had developed a legacy — but the brand and website no longer reflected where she was heading. A growing community of women, a shift in audience and offer, and a visual identity that had accumulated too many colours, fonts, and assets. It was time for a refresh, but one that had to be handled carefully. The history mattered, and any evolution needed to honour it.

Robyn was navigating how to tell her story — how to hold the legacy of what Talkpoint had been while clearly communicating what Talkpoint Women was becoming.

We started with words, enlisting the help of copywriter Jaime Laird. Working through the copy first gave us the foundation to get really clear on Robyn’s journey, the community she was building, and what she was offering the women coming to her. From there, we moved into design — a refreshed logo that carried the Talkpoint name forward into Talkpoint Women, and a completely reimagined website built to feel exactly how she described it: intuitive, open, welcoming, and alive — brought to life with original illustrations by Vanessa Alexander and animation that captures the felt-sense of the work in a way static design simply couldn’t. Then came development — bringing it all to life on the same URL, rebuilt from the ground up.

The result was a website Robyn could immediately see herself in — and one she could manage and update herself without needing to call anyone. More than that, it gave her the confidence to put Talkpoint Women out into the world, and open her circle to those seeking more intentional and relational ways of living and leading.

I have re-read the scope of my project with Cait and, 2 weeks beyond our handover meeting, I am awestruck. Each and every item has been delivered and exceeds my expectations. The visual of www.talkpoint.com.au perfectly depicts my tone and brand and the animation conveys the felt-sense and essence of my work. Working with Cait was creative, fun, direct, honest and 100% successful. She appeared like magic and fast became the brilliant younger sister I needed at that moment. Deep gratitude and love. Robyn x
